Focus and Scope

Recovery: Journal of Physical Education and Sport Analysis seeks to advance educational theories, pedagogical frameworks, and instructional practices in physical education. The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical reviews, and empirical studies within, but not limited to, the following key areas:

  • Physical Education Pedagogy & Curriculum Design: Innovative teaching models, curriculum evaluation, active learning strategies, and inclusive physical education practices across early childhood, K–12, and higher education settings.
  • Motor Learning & Skill Acquisition: Physical literacy development, motor control, perceptual-cognitive skill acquisition, and instructional feedback strategies that enhance student learning and movement proficiency.
  • Performance Analysis in Educational Settings: Educational movement analysis, student performance assessment, video-based learning feedback, and tactical analysis applied within school physical education and youth sports programs.
  • Physical Health, Recovery & Well-being in Schools: Student fatigue management, exercise recovery protocols in PE classes, school health promotion, injury prevention awareness, and lifelong wellness habits for young learners.
  • Psychosocial Aspects of Physical Education: Student motivation, social-emotional learning through physical activity, sportsmanship, and the impact of positive PE environments on student engagement and mental health.
  • PE Teacher Professional Development: Professional learning communities, reflective teaching practices, educational technology integration in PE, and leadership strategies in physical education systems.
