Focus and Scope
Outlook: Journal of Language Education Studies welcomes original empirical research articles, theoretical papers, and comprehensive literature reviews in the field of language education. The journal serves as an international forum for researchers, educators, and policy makers to disseminate innovative studies that enhance language teaching and learning practices.
The scope of the journal encompasses, but is not limited to, the following sub-fields:
- Language Teaching Methodologies & Pedagogy: Innovations in second/foreign language instruction, task-based language teaching (TBLT), communicative language teaching (CLT), and content and language integrated learning (CLIL).
- Language Learning & Acquisition: First, second, and foreign language acquisition processes, learner autonomy, language learning strategies, cognitive/affective factors, and learner identity.
- Curriculum Design & Materials Development: Syllabus design, courseware development, textbook analysis, and evaluation of instructional materials across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
